Will it be a lot of trouble?
The treatment procedure is extremely easy. Dr. Chang-LeMone and her assistant will take impressions, photos, and x-rays to analyze your particular case. Once you are identified as a suitable candidate for Invisalign and you have accepted the treatment, the lab will start fabricating your aligners. When your aligners arrive our office, Dr. Chang-LeMone will prepare your teeth, which may involve placing small tooth colored anchors on your teeth and some polishing of the teeth. Thereafter, you will start wearing your aligners for about two weeks at a time. The aligners must be worn at all times. The only exception is when you eat, drink, brush and floss.
How long will it take to straighten my teeth?
Everyone’s situation is different, but on average, invisalign treatment takes about 1-1 ½ years.
Is it expensive?
The cost of Invisalign treatment is very similar to that of traditional orthodontics treatment. If you have dental insurance, there is a chance that you have Orthodontic coverage.
